Position : Head of Talent Acquisition - EMEA

ABOUT THE ROLE
The mission of the Head of Talent Acquisition is to grow the Fortis community by creating and implementing the strategy for attracting, hiring, and setting the foundation for a highly engaged Fortis experience in which employees have the capabilities for success and are a strong culture and values fit. 

 
WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE 

  • Deliver on the global forecast to bring in the quality hires filling the roles Fortis needs when they are needed 
  • Align Fortis leaders and managers on the global hiring strategy & approach
  • Ensure a top quality end-to-end candidate experience 
  • Establish a marketing & sourcing strategy and that builds a consistent recurring pipeline of top-of funnel candidates for key roles by meeting or exceeding targets for quality applicants
  • Define, evangelize, run, and continuously improve the global hiring process to maintain candidate throughput targets
  • Build a network of external partners that reliably deliver high quality candidates for key roles aligned to the location strategy
  • Establish clear role accountability and maintain a high performance quality standard for the talent acquisition team, hiring managers, and interviewers 
  • Provide early insights and recommendations for potential issues by proactively managing an end-to-end data driven recruiting pipeline and metrics dashboard 
  • Ensure key stakeholders are informed on current progress for key recruitment activities
  • Define and execute a location strategy and talent brand strategy to hire the talent we need, where we need it, at the right level and establish Fortis as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure that all recruiting activities are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Manage and mentor the talent acquisition team to achieve hiring goals, grow their skills and build a pipeline of talent leaders within our organization
  • Cultivate an environment where partnership between leadership and the talent acquisition team is strong, effective and supportive
  • Drive and ensure recruiting processes are aligned with DEI goals
  • Coach, counsel and influence at all levels to ensure the organization is attracting and retaining top talent
  • Align the hiring process to the Fortis People Strategy and business goals
Required profile for job ad : Head of Talent Acquisition - EMEA

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Experience building and scaling global workforce talent acquisition and growth
  • Experience building diverse teams, working with key leadership in understanding business plans and recruiting implications and impact on those plans
  • Experience creating and developing effective data-driven recruiting strategies, using and translating data into improvements to those strategies
  • Progressive talent acquisition experience in a hypergrowth scaling culture, from strategy to operational execution
  • Deep understanding of and ability to use data to drive performance, find efficiencies, and diagnose issues within the recruiting process
  • Experience with ATS, relevant talent tools, and solid knowledge of industry best practices
  • Bonus: Understanding of immigration-related regulations and compliance procedures across North America, EMEA, and APAC
