• Support projects/programs development and implementation as per SSRC strategic plan and partners’ requirements.
• Ensure branch staff and volunteers understand and follow SSRC internal financial and procurement procedures & ensure quality accountability for all project/programs funds.
• Projects monitoring and reporting & ensure projects targets are achieved as per project objectives.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to programs team.
• Provide internal and external coordination with other partners, local authorities and represent SSRC in the state.
• Ensure administrative, logistical and ICT supports are provided for programs implementation.
• Responsible for field staff management such as staff recruitment, performance appraisal, team work & resolution of staff conflict/issues, including staff adherence to all policies, rules and code of conduct.

• Take lead in developing & consolidating EP&R annual work plan.
• Consolidate and request quarterly EP&R cash request from ICRC.
• Take lead in preparation of branch annual contingency plan.
• Take lead in conducting surveys and needs assessment during emergencies in the areas of operations.
• Lead and facilitate appropriate verification, registration and distribution processes for the affected populations.
• Lead and facilitate appropriate emergency response trainings to EP&R Officers, other staff and SSRC volunteers.
• Lead and facilitate appropriate cash and voucher assistance (CVA) to affected population.

• Facilitate coverage of branch activities by local media.
• Monitor use of Red Cross Brand at the field level.
• Conduct dissemination sessions for external audiences at the branch.
• Ensure that the Red Cross principles are disseminated to staff, volunteers & public
• Recruit, coach, train and manage volunteers at the branch level and coordinate with branch units on volunteers management issues. Including management of volunteers’ data base at the branch.
