My work experience has been diverse though it maybe still be due to more hustle in earing a living for a better future, and I have worked in various industries over the years. However, due to the impact of COVID-19, finding a job became a daunting task. With no job prospects, I realized that I needed to pursue a different career path to make ends meet. This led me to the tourism industry, where I am currently employed partially as a tour guide and driver at Isra Safaris Ltd. Working in the tourism industry has been an exciting and rewarding experience for me. As a tour operator, I have a unique opportunity to offer guests a memorable and immersive experience in the areas I serve. From sharing local history and culture to providing tips on the best places to visit, I enjoy showcasing the beauty of my country to visitors. Despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic, I remain passionate about this type of work, and I am constantly learning and improving my skills. I am grateful for the opportunity to work in this industry, and I look forward to continued growth and success in my role as a tour guide and driver.

During my time in campus, I volunteered as a coordinator for Islam Charity's Kampala Homeless Initiative. In this role, I had the privilege of helping vulnerable children who had no homes or access to education. I worked tirelessly to train and equip young girls with the necessary skills to help them lead better lives. In addition, I coordinated an annual school visit program that involved talking to young people about important issues such as mental health and personal growth. I am proud to have been a part of this program and to have contributed to the wellbeing of these young people. One of my most rewarding experiences was working with the Girl Child Experience project. Through this initiative, we provided books and uniforms to young girls who lacked access to education. By doing so, we helped pave the way for their success and growth in the future. Throughout my volunteer work, I generated new ideas on how to assist disadvantaged children and created partnerships that allowed us to expand our reach. My dedication to helping the less fortunate has continued to this day, and I remain committed to creating positive change in the lives of those who need it most.
